What is the difference between the Wacom PTH 640, PTH 650 and PTH 651?
Is there any real difference between them?
Based on your expreience, does it really effect your work which one you use?

Different generations of essentially the same product. I have not noticed a significant change in these most recent iterations compared with bigger jumps in tech and resolution from the earlier Intuous 2 series.
Wacom doesn't really have much competition in this space. I will say, I opted not to go for the new pro line when I got my last update. Instead, I got the "art medium" version for about half the cost - and it significantly outperforms the Intous 2 Pro I had. I've been quite happy with it.
If I was going to spend more, it would be to move to the cintiq range.
