Would the Gary Fong universal diffuser be total overkill/too large for the diminutive Nikon SB30? I'm looking for a way to diffuse a compact on camera flash for use with a film RF.
Alternately, would one of the adjustable LED on camera lights produce a better low-light effect?

I haven't used LED lights, but the seem to scatter light everywhere. That would make for very diffused light.
As for the SB-30, I have used parchment paper on my SF-20 and it works really well. Do you have a clip-on diffuser? If so, cut a small piece to fit inside the clip-on diffuser and enjoy.
