I'm wondering if anybody has any experience using these diffusion filters. There seems to be two kinds: Dutto Diffusers which come in several strengths and those with random facets on the glass which only seem to be available in one strength.
I recently picked up a bunch of assorted lens accesories in Rollei Bayonet I and there was a Spiralite Diffuser along with several colored filters and some close-up lens sets.
How well do they handle back light? Do they make the photo look flat? Out of focus? Thanks.

Al, because the diffusion is of light, back-lit photos will probably be good only to throw away.

Thanks Mukul! I guess I'll just have to shoot some film and see the results. The filter's glass size is just big enough to use with the 50/2.8 Voigtlander Color-Skopar on my Vito CL. I'll have to hold (or tape) it in place but it'll be a lot cheaper shooting 35mm store brand color than 120 color.
