I have recently rediscovered some gear that's been dormant (on shelves, in boxes) for years.
First is my Nikon FM3A (and Tri-X) and next are some flash units, light stands, umbrellas, etc.
Took the FM3 around town the other day, and woke up dusty old corners of my brain.
For example I shot all day in manual because I forgot it had an aperture priority mode !!!
(Film is still in the camera.)

Yesterday and today I put some slave flash units on a light stand and I'm experimenting with a two-flash setup.
That lighting is not as bad as I remembered it.

So, I am wondering if you have dug up any old bones lately and played with them?

A few days ago I was looking for a yellow filter in my equipment cupboard and what I found was my old and very brassed black Pentax Spotmatic from the fleamarket with a cheap Hanimex 55/1.7 lens on it. The mirror didn´t come down every few shots but that was a small repair of about 5 minutes. Now the camera has some cheap colour film loaded and I wanna take it out next week. If it´s still reliable I think about taking it to Paris in two month. A little back to the roots experience.
