Has anyone tried this 500ml kit with 120 film? While reading the datasheet the max amount of stabalizer I can make from the kit is 250ml working solution, surely that is not enough to cover 120 film in my paterson tank, and come to think of it, it is not even enough to cover 135 single reel!

Is there a trick to this?

The stabilizer contains wetting agent which can over time gunk up your reels. I put the stabilizer in a separate container and run my film through it seesaw style before hanging it to dry.

brbo/CNNY: That's good to know!

Em... now that we're talking about gumming up reel, does C41 chemistry tend to stain and discolour if not destroy the plastic reel over time? I've been developing b&w film for over the last 2 years sporadically and my paterson reel is still as good as new.

I also have a 120 stainless steel reel, I gave up, putting 120 film on stainless is frustrating.

Just keep your reels clean, and it is not a problem. I can smell the blix on the dry reels if I haven't been washing them well enough, in which case they get re washed and scrubbed with an old toothbrush.
