I have no idea. Sorry.
You probably get better response at Leica's digital forum:

Find the customer forum/digital link.
There are many owners of that nice camera you have. Happy shooting!

Hi Gustav, this depends on several parameters as with most digital cameras.
First is noise, this is more aparent on larger prints.
Second is resolution, depending on viewing distance you can get down to 144 dpi
So judging what I've seen from 5MPixel compacts I'd bet you get good A4 prints from pictures at ISO100. With some work on noise reduction ISO 200 should be good up to A5 and acceptable at A4.

At ISO 100, with the addition of using Noise Ninja, and a slight sharpening before printing the file, I have made prints up to 13" X 19" with no problems.
Prints were made on an Epson 2200, using Epson Velvet Fine Art and Enhanced Matte papers.

I don't own/use the Digilux 2 but at the 2004 'Focus' show leica UK aggresively promoted it an d I took the oppurtunity to have a good look. The Leica team were at pains to show a folder of A3 size prints which were absolutely superb although they were straight form the camera without any post processing at all,...thye were used as examples of just what this camera can do. The only drawback was that the files were from camera 'RAW',...ie, the uncompressed file from the sensor. However, Digilux 2 is notably poor in its ability to write RAW files to memory requiring several seconds to do so for each image!

I recently shot a bridal portrait and produced a beautiful 16x20 print. I shot at ISO 100, lowest jpeg compression, and used PS7 to interpolate to 270 dpi. Printing was done on traditional color paper by mpix.com. My customer was very pleased, and because of the results, I have procured several more comissions.
From what I saw at 16x20, I felt that I could've gone to 20x24 under the same circumstances.
Good luck!

I have no experience with the Digilux 2 but from my 5MP Dimage 7i 8"x10" (A4) prints are no problem from the highest quality JPEG at ISO 100 and I'd be comfortable printing an 11"x14" or even 16"x20" shot in RAW or TIFF. Much bigger than that would be a stretch but you might be able to get away with larger given the right image and using good noise reduction software.

D'oh!
It's a shame that Panasonic under-engineered the buffer and used a smallish sensor at such a high price point. The camera really should have had an APS-sized sensor. I've seen nice results from the camera in bright light, though. But the few images that I saw seemed that 16x20 was a bit of a stretch.
