Vince, I really like your black-and-white conversions. I apologize if this has been asked before, but what is your process?
Many thanks -- not much in the way of 'process' really. I desaturate the colour images (so it remains an RGB image), then work with levels, curves, selective colour, and of course dodging and burning as I'd do in the darkroom. I don't use 'channels'. Sometimes I use Silver Efex Pro but my laptop doesn't have that program installed (my desktop is in storage at the moment while our house is being built), I haven't used it in a while. When I do use it I try to be 'piano piano' with it. Everything shot RAW of course.Vince, I really like your black-and-white conversions.
