Digital Black and White.

Nikon Z6, Viltrox 50/2.

I don't know what's happened. My photos keep turning softer on RFF even though they are extremely sharp in LR and on Flickr. This particular Viltrox lens impressed me with how sharp this shot turned out but it looks like crap here. Anyone else seeing this happen?

This old man still lives in his few-centuries-old house at Nanxun, China.

NB: Not a digital B&W image per se. It is digitally converted in B&W from a Fuji 400 color shot using a software known as Silver Efex.

Similar thing happened to me. It looks like the forum scale the photos. What I do now is click the "change size" button and force the large side to 1000 pixels:

Lovely image. I see what you mean. I think Arnold Layne is probably correct. What size do you upload? I resize to 1024 pixels on the long side and sharpen accordingly (usually 100% at 0.2 radius in LR6. For some landscapes I add broad USM of 15% @40 radius). That seems to work.

Sometimes, but also it might depend on what I'm looking at the forum on, on the WIN Laptop my pics always look worse than when I'm looking at them on the iMac but I know that's the screen difference.

Your picture looks fine here and no different than the repost?
