The 20h of November is Trans Day of Remembrance, a day when transgender people gather to read out the names of transgender people who have murdered around the world that year. It is a time for us to honor our dead and to celebrate trans life. I took this picture of my friend Astrid speaking. She ended up hearing the name of a friend of a friend later that night as the names were read out.
