I'm currently trying to get my head around getting ideal black and white output from the OMD. One thing I noticed with the OMD's files is the noise is heavily controlled by the camera's internal processor ... I've actually turned all that stuff off because you can't really see what a sensor is doing when the computer in the camera is attempting to process the file for you! These two were at ISO 3200 ... converted from raw to tif in the Olympus supplied software then PP'd in ACDSee Pro.
