This is such a sad situation. My heart breaks for you and your family. Dogman, you are in my opinion the nicest and kindest person on the RFF forum. I'm not much of a religious person but I'll get on my knee's tonight and say a prayer in the hopes that things will work out for the best for your step-son. Take care, friend, and hang in there.

Thanks so much, everyone. Your kindness and best wishes are appreciated. The doctors and nurses here are superb. Unfortunately things have not improved. My oldest step-son arrives this morning from Oregon. Martha and I are in a bubble these days. It's getting harder to take pictures...this has been our world.
