Learning. Just about my first try. Shot in Pixii DNG mono, converted in ART to JPG and resized in GIMP. 35mm CV f/1.7 LTM. Yeah, I should have resized it in ART. Next time. Learning curve for an SOOC kind of guy.
OK, so I am working on it. Lighting is huge in mono, or so it seems. This little house is in Seaside, OR, and I have been driving past it for years on the back way into town. Again, converted in ART, reduced in size in GIMP. I applied the GIMP sRGB profile instead of the one from the camera. Better contrast it seemed. OK, Seaside home:
I worked really hard for this one. Shot it sitting at the computer yesterday. Zebra stampede.
X-Pro2, Voigtlander 40/1.4 Nokton Classic SC. Run through Silver Efex Tri-X simulation and minimal touch up in LR. Then I had a glass of white wine and watched some TV. Damn, it's a hard life being an artist.
