That’s a beautiful garden. The flare is interesting. Was there angled sunlight coming from outside the frame onto the front element, or was the flare coming from a diffuse source like a cloudy sky? It’s interesting; all high contrast lenses seem to do this under some circumstances, and smaller rangefinder lens design makes it harder to control.

Yes, this was shooting towards the sun, which is outside the frame. I actually liked the flare here
