My wife will hate this, I'm sure.

I love the light here. I've taken this picture of Martha and Christie dozens of times but I think this is the most successful of them all. It mirrors the mood of the day--rain and melancholy. The weather definitely affects our moods and my wife and dog were both unhappy with all the rain we've been having. Plus neither of them were quite awake yet. Nor was I...the photo is not in sharp focus and there is camera movement.

This is lovely - my wife too tends to hate pictures like these. But sometimes there is a mood or stillness that comes from the light and the time of day. Mine is just above and quotes below.
