I hesitate to post these due to the profanity. But it is what it is. A closed hotel that was vandalized, apparently left abandoned and appropriated.










Sad commentary on the quality of humanity, right? I discovered this yesterday after renewing my driver's license and just driving around. As I said at first, I have been hesitant to post due to the language used but I recalled Lee Friedlander relating a story. The printer for his book Letters From The People objected to one of his graffiti photos that used the same profanity. Friedlander's response was something like "I took the picture. I didn't write it." Well, if someone objects I suppose the powers that be can remove them. I just take pictures.

I admire and respect your decision to post these. Ignoring this sort of hate won't make it go away, and people need to confront what their fellow humans are up to. And I hope these stay up, as there has sometimes been a bit of timidity on the part of the moderators regarding "controversial" posts.
