Looking at your work with the G1 + 14-45mm, I'm left wondering why I abandoned that set-up, a few years ago. 😕

I still have this camera. I took it out for a spin last year and was impressed by how well it has held up. The only real downside was the EVF and the grip is now a bit sticky.

Yes... sadly, my G1 went a similar way.

It was a good camera, but Panasonic's choice of that particular rubbery coating material was not one of their better calls. 🙁

Pigeon House. Tinos, Greece. Panasonic G1. This was taken with a Nikkor lens but I cannot remember which one. Tinos is famous for its many pigeon houses dotted around the island. I believe they used the pigeon excrement to make explosives to defend the island from invaders, but more likely for fertiliser.
