Digital process after scanning black and white negative?

Each photo is like a song, it requires different adjusting with all the tones, but you can tell when you nail one, when all the adjustments are the same no matter what you do from each angle.
 
I used to have that plugin and lost it when my puter crashed. One of the plugins I didn't have backed up. I've looked everywhere for a download, but anything I found was too sketchy for me to want to try. Too bad, it worked well.

As it is now discontinued and the keys are free (see my first post) I think it is safe to share the plugin
 
As suggested above, the basic work should be done with curves and dodging/burning. Most other tonal adjustments (levels, brightness, contrast) are just simplified curves adjustments anyway. Occasionally, you can also use lens correction features (distort filter), which help you straighten the verticals or mitigate distortion, but for street shooting this is mainly redundant. The only other feature I use, is local contrast enhancement ( special type of sharpening ). which gives images more "pop" if you like that. An example of a Tri X shot:
