Were there diopter lenses available for the Zorki-1 model at any time? Or could it be I have one from a Leica installed? For that matter, could you get them for a Leica?

The reason I ask is my "new" '55 model Z-1D appears to have a diopter which just happens to be the strength I need, while my '48 model does not, so I always had to use glasses with that one.

Interesting. I've not seen adj. diopter on a Zorki.1, but I'm not omniscient on all things Zorki. (I have a 1b, 1c, 1d.) My Leica.3s both have them and as a side note, Oleg replaced the diopter eyepiece lens on one of my Leicas with the lens from a Zorki.1. It looks different but works fine.

So maybe it's possible to install/schmooz a Leica.3 adj.diopter on to a Zorki.1?

I have never seen such an accessory for the zorki/fed-1 cameras. It could be some custom finder cover made of a user cut diopter glass.

Well, you can't tell the difference between the two just looking at them. Would be nice to adapt the adjustable rangefinder diopter to it, so both view ports are in focus.

Just measured a Zorki and Leica for a pair of ORTUX's and there seems no reason to me why a Leitz one wouldn't go on to a Zorki. Give or take 0.01 of a mm they are (or should be) the same dia.
