Reading this forum, one notices personal experiences based on mostly old cameras..
Many of these like mine are walking wounded.
A few that I totally disagree with.. Hasselblad, Nikon F, F2, F3 and the lighter FE,FM.
Poor Canon gets a slating and Pentax K series as well as MX..to note afew.
My new out of box, Leica M3 arrived without a working RF, due to missing parts..
It was repaired/assembled and 52 years still my favorite user..
The lenses are all Leitz and are more than adequate.
My Nikon-F a fabulous user, a real pro camera with superb lenses.
Look at Nat-Geo's book :The Photographs", so sharp, clear and beautiful colors.
My F3 way more modern, plus working meter. I hate the film wind, so smooth!
I never know if film is moving except checking "REWIND".
Canon squeal means service reqd.
Hasselblads only problem they were advertiisng agencies and badly misused.
Magazine insets all incorrect, causing overlapping etc.
A camera with stunning Zeiss lenses that stood alone.
Pentax is a less costly camera with great optics.
The lenses though had problems with auto-diaphragm.
The pin jammed. I never traded my old Pentax SP or K1000.
Mx was traded as no flash synch and actually too small for my hands (small).
Minolta X models all great, with some electronic problems.
Yet they are fun to use and lenses remarkably similar to some Leica..
A camera that was a disaster, the Bronica-c.
IT was a demented shredder of any film, plus had an eject of insert..
The store exchanged it for all new M3 with 50mm Summicron and MR meter..
Same price, so Bronica no cheapie..just insane.
My faulty M3 was replacement for M3 annihilated on building site.
Use a camera for at least a year, getting to know it thoroughly.
