Dear all,
I got a broken Zeiss Contaflex S in rough condition for cheap and decided to try my luck. I got stuck quite quick: I have no clue how to remove the rewind knob.
My consultation of the internet did not help too much als also the repair manual did not help.
As far as I got it, there is a ring in the center which is connected to a gear on the inside, this inner ring is surrounded by a slotted ring. I expect it to be some kind of ring which can be screwed out like in a lens or something comparable. I tried to approach it with a sharp spanner tool. The problem is, that the rewind knob keeps turning, even if I block the mechanism inside of the camera by using a screw driver to block the arm which rewinds the film.
I would appreciate if somebody could help me to remove it in a proper way. Ideally, something like Chris Sherlocks videos or repair descriptions would help. I found something but it did not help mit with the initial steps to remove the top cover.
