Hi all, does anyone have tips for dismantling a Rolleinar (viewing lens)?
I'm attempting to open up two Bay III Rolleinar's (1 and 2)to clean out some fungus. The rear element comes out easily once the retaining ring is removed with a lens spanner.
However, as far as I can see, the front element and prism element can only come out the front, and the black 'beauty ring' is refusing to move. I've tried some wd40 (�� ) and attempting to unscrew it with a rubber mat, and it won't budge. It feels like forcing it any harder is going to break something... Unfortunately, the fungus is between these two elements.
Any ideas? The interwebs aren't much help...

*fwiw these are the later 2-part Rolleinars, rather than the earlier 3-part system.
