DIY 6x7 RF

Uses a RB67 back, 65mm f/7 Topcor lens and Blik rangefinder with ghetto coupling. There are some light leaks I can't seem to fix and the lens mount is poorly aligned. But focus calibration is adequate. Maybe I'll get a 645 back.

That is cool. Where did you source the rangefinder pieces? Polaroid 110?

Thanks. It's a Blik accessory RF from the FSU. Modded (mostly reversible) by removing the distance wheel adjuster and adding a compensating lever. The lever length was calculated using science, but science failed and trial-and-error prevaled.


I've worked out most of the kinks. Remains an intermittent light leak, and properly leveling the frame.

Still has a minor leak that looks like a flare. On 3/10 frames. Got a ProSD 645 back but it doesn't fit, anybody has a original one to trade?

Rebuilt the camera around a Mamiya press film holder. 6x6 or 645 now possible via mask and red window, plus the holder is less susceptible to leaks vs. the RB67 back. Three rolls in and still ironing out the kinks.
