The .5 liter Minute Maid Lemonaid plastic bottles are a great size for fabricating lens hoods.

I think someone else in the forum has used rectangular rubbing alcohol bottles to make something similar.
How difficult is it to cut at the exact diameter you need to make it fit?

I simply cut the plastic with an mat knife and squared the ends using a disk sander, Some black electrical tape will help re-enforce the edges.

The bottles are available at any trash can near you, don't be afraid to ruin a few. 😀
