Hi everyone,
I took the finder from a broken thrift store camera to fit into my Ricoh GRD III. I basically cut it out of the donor camera and stuck it onto a plastic hotshoe cover. Here is the result:

It looks a bit rough and flimsy so I am seeking suggestions on how to finish it. Does anyone know of a liquid hardening substance that I can coat the finder with to give it a harder finish? I was thinking of coating it with multiple coats of liquid electrical tape but there might be someone who has similar experiences. Thanks.

JB Weld? I don't have the skills to get it nice and smooth, but it is certainly strong.
