Do the framelines "know" or do you have to set them according to the crop FOV?

Do the framelines "know" or do you have to set them according to the crop FOV?

Just wondering; since the R-D1s is a 1.5 crop sensor and I have a 35mm lens, do I set the crop lines to 50mm or does the camera somehow do the conversion and I set them to 35mm?

Just wondering...it's not earth shattering stuff.

The camera knows. Set it the switch to 35mm for a 35mm lens.
