Judging by his description I'd say he is somewhat proud of it. I'd be surprised if he parts with it..

I've never been able to see the attraction of a hammertone finish on a camera ... I think the Leica examples are hideous and this obviously didn't have much appeal to the masses!

Great finish for a tool box, filing cabinet and the occasional household appliance ... not for a camera though.
