I'm down to just an MP - sold off an M8.2, M9-P and M3 over past 2 years. Have yet to give up any M glass yet (with exception of collapsible 50 I had on the M3). I may be done with digital M's but never say never I suppose.

RAID, my Leicas own me, not the other way around!!😛

But like Paul, with the reliability issues and lack of long term support, a digital M is highly unlikely for me. It is kind of an expensive throwaway scenario that scares me although a Monochrom is my dream. In the meantime I love my R8 and I am still not happy with that solution (DMR/R10) either by Leica.

I have just the Leica MP 0.85 and 2 Leica lenses 50 & 75

I don't really know how much value a poll like this is for 1 reason only.
There are supposed to be 59,000 members of RFF but the input from active members is a lot lower perhaps no more than a few hundred.

Also the polls themselves are usually low in numbers - maybe the high hundreds but not often breaking the 4 digit mark.

In the 4 hours of this poll - we have close to 200 replies already with another week to go - so where and what are the 10's of thousands of RFF members?
I will admit I post rarely - joined in 2006 but less than 100 posts - usually when I look and read RFF I don't need to sign in.

I hope the CEO of Leica doesn't turn this around on Raid and say sure you have several hundred replies and several hundred active members (not all by any means Leica owners/users) but the 59000+ ...... tells us different.

However just like Leica (film cameras & lenses) quality is what counts.
The several hundred usual suspects here on RFF actually lend a quality and authority to this forum that regular readers such as me like so much.

all the best, John

Can I change my vote ?

Can I change my vote ?

Along now comes the village idiot who voted "NO" and then remembered he has a Digilux-2 , that is dormant but much loved, custom dressed in red leather.

So.... subtract 1 from the "no" column and add 1 to the "yes" column. Thank you.

Though I wish that I understood why the Leica CEO needs to know this.
