M-E ... needs, either a sensor replacement or an upgrade -I received a lot of useful feedback on the upgrade options here ... have to make up my mind;
M6 x 2 @ 0.58 and 0.72;
M7 a-la-carte ... that's a long story.

I have two M3's, a M2, IIIc and a IIIF RD. R4 not a Rangefinder.
A couple of clones, Canon and Nicca.
Thinking about getting a M9, can you still get sensor replacement?

Google the latest Leica message on this. As far as I recall, you'd need to be an original buyer providing a bill of sales, within the past 5 years. If so, this would give you the choice of, either the sensor replacement and overhaul, or an upgrade to a later model, at a cost.

I have a Leica M3 DS that I bought 4-5 years ago after regretting selling my previous M3 DS, I vowed never to sell this, also probably my favorite camera of all time.

pondering the idea of getting another digital M as I just love the shooting experience of RF vs mirrorless camera. still undecided between the M9, M240 and M10.
