My house is a mix of my work and other artists' and photographers' work. I've got a couple of big Ctein prints from two of his TOP sales, for instance.

I bought an IKEA stainless wall mount wire setup for hanging curtains.I haven't put it up yet,but I think the clothsline mount will be easy to change out photos without punching too many holes in my wall.:)

No, not really. I have a few in the basement -- all platinum-palladiums from years ago, but that's it.

Photos-wise, I have a George Hurrell on the wall, a Marion Warren (Annapolis area photographer), and one from an unknown photographer. Most everything else is either paintings or engravings.

Lucky to have some spaces where I can hang framed things, yet remove them for exhibit elsewhere/other times. I don't see how one can evaluate some works (one's own i.e.) until they are printed and hanging at an appropriate distance.

Yes, I like them (lith prints all of them) so why not? And as has been said earlier in the thread - it is the best way to enjoy photography - the physical print, be it in my hand or on the wall.

35 20x30 frames containing 16x20 and 20x24 FB selenium toned prints. Those are rotated with current exhibitiions. I also got over 3000 fb selenium toned prints stored in a room.

Yes, I take my work very seriously, from capture to print to framing.

I have several of mine printed on large format and framed on walls in my hall and living room. Does that make me pretentious?

Don't know about pretentious. I have dozens of pictures of my family paneling an entire wall of my house. I know it makes me obnoxious, but my guests are to polite to say so .

I just had a 16x16 print made - the first I felt strongly compelled to hang on a wall. My wife has printed several of my photos and has them hanging. She is a better editor than I.

I print with K7 piezo inks on archival paper, about 10"x15". I cut the mount boards myself and (Neilson) frame the print behind glass. And, of course, I hang them on our walls.

People have always found me a bit odd for not showing my work on my walls! I have one poster size collage of photos taken in 2009 and the plan was always to do more but even though it worked out quite well, I never got around to doing any more. I use photos for my computer desktops and on websites but thats about as displayed as they get.
Not sure what it is, committing to specific photos perhaps.
