I'm not used to take this kind of shots (or not usually able?), I like sharp subjects, selective focus, ecc... but I love the way this one describes indifference, its strong abstraction.

what do you think? is it just "ogni scarrafone e' bello a mamma soja?"*

shutter lag? If this is what you like, then it needs to be judged in a body of work, not as an outlier....IMHO of course.

Sorry, it looks too much like a mistake (looks like an "accidental" photograph) for my liking.

There are many accidental (or "mistakenly" produced) photos posted on this forum which are praiseworthy, and this one is no different. I like the mysterious aura of the photo (lack of facial features, double shadow on the wall, blurriness etc.)

I agree with 35mmdelux 100%. Some photos work individually, other can only be assessed in the context of a set. This one doesn't work for me on its own.

The shadows are very interesting. I'd crop a lot of the bottom of as it's emptiness does not benefit the composition.

I might like it if the person on the right wasn't in the shot just maybe their shadow...
But I'm still not sure...it's not my cup of tea...I wouldn't shoot it but I could look at it...

thank you all for the c&c, as someone mentioned context is very important, the single shot is not so distinctive

I like the setting, but the image itself does nothing for me by itself. You should take more pictures, set them up against each other.

I'm not sure what to say about this photo. And this is the reason which makes it interesting: you can read it in many different ways, according to your sensibility, feelings, etc etc.

Sometimes serendipity shines on us with results we did not plan.

It's a very unique image that would be hard to reproduce consistantly. It has a strange quality of light that speaks of something impending, but not giving away what that might be. I like the abstraction of that. Nice.
