Do you take a camera everywhere?

Nearly always. An M2 and Sekonic L-208. Often times, it is an interesting exercise by itself to take incident light readings with the light meter, particularly interiors.

Almost. M9 or X100. Before that the M5. Just in the last few years. For my wife's sake I will occasionally magnanimously leave the house without a camera.

1950s to 2003 no. Now got an iphone and it changes all that.

Crappy? Low res? maybe but I captured some lovely moments of the people I loved at spontaneous moments and I will always remember and see them (crappy)

An old habit of mine. I used to take that very same meter (or any other that struck me as useful that day) and "train" myself for different light conditions. Sometimes without the camera!

BTW, I do tend to leave home with one. Usually my momentary camera crush (either one of my M5s, my M4-2 or my S2 or some other that I feel like carrying).

I can't recall a day in the last 50 years when I did not have a camera with me. I always carry a shoulder bag, my pipe, tobacco and matches, spare film, possibly a second camera body. Just a habit and, yes, I usually do shoot a roll or two during the day - though not today as it was snowing/raining/slushy outside - so I stayed home, read and took pictures of a table lamp in front of me.

Yep. Usually try to keep one digital (beside Nexus 4/or whatever I have at the time) and one film somewhere around me at all times..

There's been times when I just don't have a camera, probably due to frustration or boredom, but generally the feeling comes back and I start carrying one religiously.

How much I use is another question, I carry it incase there is a shot, I won't waste it on nothingness.
