Do you think you have a GAS problem?

Why did you tell?????? I was here for six months before I figured it out. 😀

So I could perhaps come across as somewhat intelligent😉😀. I remember my first serious gas pains for a Fed 2 then a Zorki 2. Fed crapped out finally but the Zorki has film in it now. Best cure for GAS is being broke.🙂

Yes I have a GAS issue. Each time I think I am 'done' with the 'perfect combination', something pops up as the Devil's Advocate and says: "Are you sure?''

I feel like I've spent too much time obsessing over a new purchase and not enough time shooting lately.

Which is strange, because volume wise I think in the last 2 months I've gone through at least 10 rolls of film and then maybe 400 digital shots. Maybe it's because I no longer make it a point to go out and take pictures but take them around my area. Driving around today I already know what Im going to do about that though. Got some shots in my head already.

As far as gear goes... well I feel like I have too many cameras but honestly I'm not sure what I can live without. I do have one duplicate so I suppose I should move that.

Doesnt help that I have a nagging feeling I'm going to end up with a full M lens lineup eventually and that means a 35 and a 21 for sure. Then I need a 90/2 and 50/2 macro for my OM system. Oh and I want a 500cm so I can have a tripod camera and that'll need the distagons and the planars and the sonnars =/

just say no. just say no. just say no.

****.

My interest in new gear seems to be inversely related to personal happiness. When things are alright, I can go months without even thinking about buying photo equipment. unfortunately that's not always the case...

Anyone else feel the same? I've actually been thinking about this for a while.

I can definitely relate to this. It's just retail therapy really. I'm much better behaved now – Plus I have everything I want... 😎
