It doesn't suck, but I personally don't see anything special about it. But each to there own.

I have the problem when I look at a lot of pictures posted in the Gallery - I wonder why they have been posted at all, let alone in what I thought should be a showcase. Sometimes I look at Gallery Pics of the Week and think I know why a picture has been chosen - sometimes because of the person who has taken it I suspect, rather than because of the merit of the photo. Don't ask me for examples - I don't want to offend anyone either. But now that I have expressed the thought, does anyone else identify with it?
Why do I post pics in threads? Sometimes because I think I have a picture that I think continues the theme, sometimes because I have a picture that I think is a bit different and I hope it provides someone with pleasure or stimulus of some sort.
Most encouraging are comments like 'I can see what you are doing with your pictures' but I think the forum really works when there is constructive comment as a result of a posting.
I don't try to analyse pictures that don't appeal - there are enough in the forum that do for me to ask - what is it about this picture that has made me stop and have a closer look?
