I wrap only the M3 and the M6. The rest go naked.

I like the look, but they really hinder film loading.

A lot less scratches, dents and fingerprint acid induced corrosion over the years on the cameras with the half cases.
The exception is my F3 with motor drive. I've never put any kind of case on it, but it looks pristine. I guess I'm careful with my gear.

The best camera is one that still works!
The only half case I've ever really liked is the Luigi case with built in grip ... but they cost an arm and a leg! The one I have does admirable service with my OMs and the Leica M which it was actually designed for.

Be careful, Akiva. I may show the naked ones!

I've owned a few half and full cases, but they just get in the way for film changing, setting adjustment, etc. I just carry a bag, and if needed, a pair of thin leather motorcycle gloves for when it's cold out.

I do. I just find it makes 'em easier to grip (esp the M8).

The half case I have that came with my M7 doesn't work for me. Exposure compensation control in M7 requires you to push a button and turn a wheel in the back of the camera. The half case blankets both.

Shooter of Film...
I have a Nikon F2 with one and two Olympus 35-S and a Spotmatic with half cases...
I like them for protection and they look nice (my opinion) and I find the cameras easier to grip with them...
As far as them slowing you down when changing rolls...I'm usually not in a rush when using them anyway...
