Does Agitating Need To be Inversions?

Just started developing with Paterson tank this week. Inverter. I've never seen a YouTube instruction videos that uses spinning oddly enough.

We spinners aren't mainstream 😀 Think about film vs digital thing haha!

My first developing tank was a spin only plastic job, GAF maybe.
I used it for years and never saw any perceptible difference
between "inner" and "outer" negatives. Nice theory though...😉
