I recently bought 2 folders from a member who lives in Germany. He did not include take up spools and I don't soup my own 120 film so I have no extras. Does anyone have spares I would be happy to pay postage but I hate to buy film and trash it just to get a spool. I live near Phila. PA
Sounds like "hey buddy can you spare a dime" but I do hate to waste film.
Thanks!!

Why not visit a local camera store that still processes (or at one time processed) film? They should have a bucket of them that they'll probably give you for free. Alternatively, while at local camera store you could buy the cheapest roll of 120 film that they have and pull the film/paper off -- it might be cheaper than postage. The last time I asked a local lab for a couple of 120 spools they gave me a sealed brick of outdated tri-x... which I sacrafised one for a spool and I'm still shooting the rest.

Ambitious, but rubbish
I'll look around - seems like I should have at least one spare spool. I know I've got a roll that needs developing, so I'll have one once that's done. Also, I'm not sure what part of Philly you live in, but I know the lab near me still does 120, so they might have a few extras. They're called "The Photo Workshop" and they're located on Germantown Ave. in Chestnut Hill. In the meantime I'll scrounge through some drawers.
