Cambridgeworld.com? they advertise Leica products at extremely low prices. I understand they are Gray Market products, but my thinking is if I buy an MP and a lens I probably won't have any problems (hope). I'll have new eqiuipment at just over the price of used. Whatta ya guys think? Also, I'm falling in love with the MP3...anyone have it? Not that Cambridgeworld has it...I've found a kit for $7,500 it's in black....not as durable as the silver from you all have advised? I would feel silly buying it then actually using it.....I dunno. This whole Leica thing is throwing me for a loop!!! I just picked up some Scala slides taken w/ my G2 system...they're beautiful!!!! Yet...there is one thing bothering me.....it's a great camera, but its not a Leica!!
 
Cambridge Camera was so BAD that Popular Photo banned them from advertising in their magazine. They used to take out a 6-page ad every month. The editor finally got tired of all the complaints from readers being ripped off.

Their favorite trick was "Bait and Switch". Advertise an item at a low price, then be out of it. Try to sell their "Cambron" lens/motor drive/whatever as a substitute.
 
B&H, Robert White, hksupplies.com, photovillage.com , popflash.com, cameraquest.com ... are all terrific.

All others, tread carefully :)
 
I would add kbcamera.com to that list... Richard there will take all the time needed to help you properly address your Leica fixation, and if he's out talk to Chad. Wonderful to deal with.

Sorry, these guys are not grey market, just reasonable authorized dealers.
 
I second the recommendation for Stephen Gandy at CameraQuest. He has been completely trustworthy and dependable in several transactions, including a defective new camera and a problem with a CLA. His website is a good resource, too.
