Does anyone know theperformance of 35 summarit on nex 7

Hi all.

I'm thinking of getting a nex 7 for landscape work does anyone know how well the summarit works on the nex 7 in the corners?

Hmm, that's a good question. FWIW, after using 5 different 35mm M lenses on the NEX-7, I tried the cheap Sigma 30/2.8 for e-mount, and it is as good or better than them all in terms of sharpness across the field. Some easily fixable CA is the only issue with the lens, in terms of IQ. Even F2.8 is sharp corner to corner. There is something to be said for lenses actually designed for the sensor.

The Contax G45 is also insanely sharp on the NEX-7. The Zm 35/2 is very sharp, too, but you'll have to deal with color shift. I've not used your Nokton 35/1.2, but I understand that it is also very good on the NEX-7.

+1 for the sigma 30mm, on my 5n.
Not sure about the Summarit though. The advantage would be the manual focus with Hawk's helicopter adapter.

Not really. The Sigma 30 is around 7mm shorter than the 35 Summarit (if you include the M adapter,) about 135g lighter (depending on your M adapter,) and about 9mm bigger in diameter. I'd say it's a wash at best.
