Hi, All,
Does the RFF text editor become disabled in Internet Explorer 9?
I upgraded from Internet Explorer 8 to IE 9 on my Compaq Presario CQ60 laptop... And now, I can no longer use the Message Editor on RFF.
:bang:
The RFF text editor has become completely disabled in IE9. I can neither create/ send a new message, nor reply to existing messages, nor PM anyone or anything! The buttons no longer work, entered text appears in a black font, replies appear with no entered text.
(I'm typing this on a different machine, of course.)
I hope this is only my problem on one machine...
Robt.

I've had a similar experience but have solved it using:
TOOLS - Compatiility View.
Give it a try.

It works!
Thanks much, 250fa8.....the rest of it.
I guess, we specifically need to choose those settings while actually viewing the RFF site.
(Oh...and did I mention that Microsoft SUCKS!)

That IE9 has given me more new grey hairs than I needed! Brain let me know that by going back to IE8 that things would get better. It did, and it has ,thanks again

The editor works with Netscape...
I'm not a big believer in upgrading software, just for this reason!
I am also interested in what Editor Settings that users with IE-9 problems have selected. There are 3 settings, the most advanced being the WYSIWYG. If someone is using IE9, and can use the editor, please report back the settings in use.
