Does Leica 1.25x maginifier work with R-D1

Can anyone confirm or deny the compatibility of the Leica 1.25x maginifier with the R-D1.

The Leica magnifier will not fit the R-D1, the Leica eyepiece diameter is smaller than that of the R-D1.

AFAIK the only magnifier which fits the R-D1 is this one: http://www.unicircuits.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=112

JPY 8,900 is about USD 77 I think. Shipping to the UK was JPY 1500 about 13 USD. Several people on this board have had magnifiers shipped to the US without any problems, as fast as 3 days in some cases. Mine was about 4 days to the UK. All communication with Dirk at Megapearls (dirk@unicircuits.com) is in english with no difficulty at all. I used their online ordering system and PayPal when I purchased mine.
