Does the early Canonet QL19 feature a battery tester?

I have acquired on the cheap an early QL19. Everything works fine, and I was wondering if it features any battery testing trick. I have searched for manuals about it and all I can find are the one for the late QL17/QL19 models that had the battery test button next to the viewfinder.
Any hints would be appreciated.

IIRC only the GIII models of the QL17/QL19 have the battery test button. I know that the intermediate "new" QL19 does not have the button, but I haven't handled the first model to say for sure.

I am going to spend most of my time with it out of the auto mode, but I was just wondering how come a battery operated camera not having a test button for its battery 🙂
