Does this camera worth one of your prints?

Well, I am "giving" away this camera. It's a Voigtlander Vito folder (I believe). It has been sitting for a while. The lens is clean and the bellow seems to be in good shape. As a matter of fact, I never really used it. I had no idea what this is until recently. Tried to load a roll of film recently and it seems to load fine. But I am not sure how the counter works (maybe it doesn't 'cause it doesn't move). The shutter seems to work even at slow speed (B, 1 - 1/200). Lens is a Prontor II 50/3.5. Now, after I took out the film, I for the life of me cannot lower the film winder to sit back down all the way (did I break it?). Damn, I could just leave it there for the person who gets the camera to just shoot it. Oh well, too late now.

Since you are such a nice bunch here so this will be a proper place to let go of this junker. 😉

Thought about just giving away so someone can use it. But then how do I know you don't just want to accumilate another piece of junk in your attic? So I thought why not I will give this to someone who actually use it. The only way I can know that is to see your work.

So here goes: I am giving this away for a price of your winning photo posted here (yes, the sole judge will be ME :angel: ).

If you care to send me the winning photo at any size on paper format, the camera is yours at your door. If you don't want to send me the photo, send me $5 and the camera will still be at your door. Fair?

If no one sees any photos here, then, well, the camera will be on the next dump truck going by my door (ouch, that hurts...uh?).

ps, no, don't ask me to post more photos because I won't. Taking one picture of a camera, and not something else, and somehow process it to post online is already a big torture for me.

What a cool offer, wtl! I just got a similar kind of camera or I would be happy to play but will leave the feild to those who "need" a folding, scale-focus 35mm!
I like the idea of trading a print for an unused camera.

Well, time has come...

But before I do, I want to put this small disclaimer first...

There are some many nice stuff that I am in no way to pick just one. With my small brian, I had to print some of the photos on regular papers and took them into my kitchen. I taped them one after the other to see which one fits the best. So, really "the losers" are not neccessarily bad, just that the one I picked fits my taste a bit better.

Now the flip side of this disclaimer is that I really really like the one I pick. As a matter of fact, I pondered with a few for the entire night and finally flipped several coins to arrive to my decision. 😛
