I'm hoping they produce a Bayer version of the X Pro.
I'd definitely be in for two of those right now!

Nope... I was wide awake when I made these prognostications.

It would be bloody good to have Fuji (eventually) offer a Monochrome camera in a possible limited run of some 100,000 pieces for good effect. I would be all over it either way!

50 percent cut in their low end cameras
50 percent cut in their low end cameras

In light of a 50 percent cut and this blog posting showing how many p&s they have in the market, it kind of makes sense that they decided to add more cameras in their x mount line at good entry prices.
Mobile device cameras from smart phones to tablets has got to be hurting everyone, but when u got a lot of p&s in your lineup, it got to hurt much more...

OK.. I'll dive it here. The mystery camera will be a full-frame monochrome manual focus camera, using an improved version of the split screen focusing offered up in the X100s. And they'll be introducing a manual focus lens line-up, including 28/2.8, 40/2, 58/1.2, and 85/2.
This is reliable information... because I'm always right... eventually.
I think it would be cool if they did a limited "Heritage" line up that consisted of smaller manual lenses.
I'm kind of thinking the two new X system bodies will be:
1. A cheaper non viewfinder system camera to further compete with M4/3 cameras. Maybe the size of a Olympus PEN or Panasonic GX1. Maybe Fuji times the release of this at the same time as the 27mm f/2.8 pancake and sells it as a very compact and affordable kit.
2. A camera that looks a little more like an SLR, similar to the Panasonic GH series. This could be the non X-Trans sensor camera and have features targeted more towards videographers.
Or they could always shock the world and do a digital version of the Fuji 6x9
