Does this sound like the P.O.D.?

I have recently had a couple of shutter/exposure issues with my 35 GS. At first it started as a few frames per roll that were either not exposed or over-exposed to the point that the exposure actually bled outside of the normal frame mask. This occurred intermittently for 3 rolls of film, usually on the first half of the roll My last roll through (4th roll) the first three frame were over-exposed to the point of bleeding over the frames, while the rest of the roll was under exposed. Battery was fresh.

The rewind did sound a little funky, a louder noise at the start of the rewind than usual. What is the likelihood of POD versus total shutter failure?

Thanks

From what I have seen, the PoD problem first shows up as auto exposures in bright light resulting in bulb, and massive overexposures. And the clunk while advancing the film becomes faint and then vanishes around the same time.
