Does your 12mm heliar fit in the VL-2 case?

I just ordered one and it seems a but snug. There is a half circle of foam attached to one side. Even if I clear that it seems tough getting the top portion over the focusing lever and hood titeniing screw.

Could cameraquest have sent me a VL-1 case?

I have the CV case for the 12mm Heliar, bottom compartment holds the lens and caps on one end and the finder in the other end that I don't really use.

Yep it’s a tight fit, and worse with a ltm-M adaptor on. I hardly ever use mine, just when it’s in transit.

Take care with the finder it seems to like jumping out of the accessory shoe when it can, and it makes a dreadful sound bouncing along limestone paving.

Not comfortably. I think I used mine once before it went to the back of the cupboard.
