How hard it it to remove that goofy Domke logo/label on the front? Other than that, the black looks good but would prefer a rugged wear color. Gettin' hot around here and need something a tiny bit smaller but not as small as my Crumpler pouch.

Great little bag.
I went for the green, and had (for personal reasons) the Italian flag sewed on the flap.

See they're stitching that Domke logo on pretty good these days. Had no problem removing the logo on mine when I got it a few years ago, even now, just pull the stitching holding the logo to the bag, and you should be away and laughing.

Great little bag, in fairness. Have one of these and a 5XB, finding the former great for single camera, and the latter great for a pair of cameras. I rarely take out more than one camera at a time, so its usually the 5XA that ends up on my shoulder.

All I need to complete the holy trinity of bags, is some sort of small'ish shoulder bag with two straps, for those dslr/ medium format-style, heavy shooting days.

EDIT: nice idea with the flag patch, I like it! Also like the green colour bag too, and didn't think I'd find myself saying that..

if you're a seamstress then use a seam ripper.

otherwise a utility knife workd just fine.
all my domkes are now sans labels.
