damn tempted by a Billingham Hadley Small. Yes its profile is very similar to my Alice-L2, but just that tad thinner, which would be nice.

And the Brady with A&A insert.
You must compare them
It's the only way to really know ...
(There is also the Brady Stour. Cheaper than the others and same size. Also, Bradys have wide straps and don't need shoulder pads, unlike Billinghams).

To be fair, mate, I did buy both. I do think it's a bit of a toss up. However the Billingham postage costs have gone through the roof since about 6 months ago. You will likely get a far better deal on Brady plus insert of your choice, and no need for a shoulder pad.
