Don McCullin in Los Angeles

I was in the US Army during the Vietnam war. And there was a story (as the Nikon F was the US Army camera then) that an Army photographer put one in a bucket of water to hid it.

He later retrieved it and dried it out and it still worked fine.

What a living legend Don McCullin is. I’d love to be able to visit this exhibit. His book “unreasonable behaivor” was filled with so many insane stories. The guy has more lives than a cat.

Exhibition was great and free. All his classic Vietnam’s photos were represented as well as later fine art landscapes and photos of Africa.

Those nikons were great and still continue to be great
