Watching this at the movement. Very powerful story of this man with some riveting or hideous accounts of work as a war photographer. The format of this series includes audience questions. In answer to one of the cameramen making the show, a question as to whether he had yet come to digital, he said that he can feel it coming. But the loneliness of the darkroom still attracts him, and so long as he can use a toothbrush and tie his shoe laces he would keep at it.

I found McMullin's insights and honesty compelling.
 
I saw then end of the program last night and thought it was fantastic.
