Philip Wang , (ebay seller collect888) is a real piece of work. He claims that everything he sells is in stock, and to ship all orders within three days, but that but it is patently untrue. My order of 30 rolls of 120 TX hadn't arrived in three weeks, and he has declined to answer my repeated polite emails about the matter (though he was very quick when I was enquiring about shipping charges): I've had to go to my CC company to get the funds refunded. In addition, the feedback he leaves for those who cross him is egregiously abusive.

A fellow RFF member (and friend of mine) is also getting the same treatment and has had to resort to the same remedy.
 
I will second (third) Merciful's experiences. I did eventually get the TXT I bought from him, abut only after 2 months. It was terrible. Yet many have had good experiences with him. I say - why risk it?

I'd noticed this guy's auctions and must admit that the prices are tempting; the seller's feedback, however, is not. When someone has so many neutrals and negatives in the past week/month, let alone year, something is up. And yet there seem to be so many others who get their stuff in a timely manner...

Gotta go with kaiyen, though. Why take the risk?
 
been there, done that. cheap outdated tri-x. took a month or so to get here due to him delaying a lot the shipping process. yet it arrived.

being overseas and wanting cheap tri-x, I had not many options, that's exactly why I decided to risk... that said, he was a lot more kind and communicative than I was expecting. maybe it was just my lucky day.

I think that knowing both the bad and not so bad experiences is necessary in this case.

Ditto - I am about to start looking for some more film on eBay and will steer clear of this guy no matter how tempting his prices seem to be!
 
collect888 is well known. He seems to be able to get his act together once-in-a-while, and actually ship on time, but his reputation tends to lean towards tardiness.
 
I had the same problem, I asked for a refund and I received an email telling the stock was to be shipped that day. I arrived 5 days later to europe. Nothing wrong with his product in my experience just very disorganised.

My friend in Holland got his TX: 5 weeks after he ordered it. I suppose mine might come now, but my CC company has already refunded my money. If it does, I'll negotiate with him, but up to only about half the original price: time is money.
